Doctors' gardens

In the old days doctors used to grow their own drugs (drogen = dried plant).. Sometimes they had their own gardens for the purpose. 'Physic gardens' largely gone in developed countries. However some have been retained and a few new ones are being set up for educational purposes.

They are great places to visit to learn how plants were used for health and how they may still have such benefits.
